Consumer Superbrands 2011: Selection Process

Thousands of brands were considered for Consumer Superbrands status in 2011. Brands did not apply or pay to be considered. An exhaustive "long list" of brands was created from independent research, public nominations and consultation with an Expert Council. The final listing of those brands attaining Consumer Superbrands status was determined by a national vote of over 2,000 British adults.

The entire selection process was independently administered by The Centre for Brand Analysis.

Full details, including profiles of the Expert Council members and further information on the national consumer vote can be found here.
